Budanov described the war as "very expensive" for Russia.
"Each day of war costs them just under [$]1 billion. That's a significant amount," said the head of the GUR.
At the same time, he emphasized that Russia's mobilization resources allow it to continue moving forward.
"However, the pace and the number of casualties, yes, they cannot ignore that, and they are taking it into account," Budanov added.
Additionally, the intelligence officer noted that the occupiers officially allocate 41% of the budget's expenditure on defense spending.
