In Dnipropetrovsk, a driver was extricated from a mangled car following an accident (PHOTOS).

A serious traffic accident occurred on Zavodskaya Street in the city of Zheltye Vody, resulting in severe injuries to the driver of a passenger car, reports "Vidomo" citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Upon arriving at the scene, rescuers determined that a Mitsubishi Lancer had collided with a reinforced concrete structure of an underground pedestrian crossing. The driver was trapped inside the mangled vehicle.

The emergency service personnel extricated the injured man, born in 1976, and handed him over to the emergency medical team for further hospitalization.

A total of 6 rescuers and 1 unit of firefighting and rescue equipment were deployed to address the aftermath of the accident.
