Heating season in Kryvyi Rih: how many homes are still without heat (VIDEO)

The head of the emergency response team for addressing the aftermath of disasters and connecting homes to heating in Kryvyi Rih, Deputy Prime Minister for the Recovery of Ukraine Tymur Tkachenko, reported that currently over 500 homes in Kryvyi Rih remain without heating, as reported by "Vidomo".

"As of November 23, nearly 1,000 residential buildings were without heating. Thanks to collective efforts, this number has decreased to 528. Work is ongoing almost around the clock. Today, 70 repair crews have been involved in addressing the emergencies," he noted.

According to Tkachenko, many specialists from other regions have been brought in.

"The significant increase in the number of workers was made possible by support from the regions. Personnel and equipment from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Volyn, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, and Khmelnytskyi regions have arrived in Kryvyi Rih. In total, this amounts to over 100 additional specialists," the official stated.
