According to him, Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace is engaged in close negotiations with representatives of the Ukrainian industry to establish a joint venture in Ukraine.
The primary goal is to increase the production of missiles for the NASAMS system in Ukraine based on Ukrainian technologies, Lee stated.
He noted that this involves mass production – hundreds of missiles and the potential to create joint enterprises with Ukraine within a few months.
Lee mentioned that in the long term, once the war concludes, Ukraine "could become part of the missile supply chain for air defense systems."
"There are many innovations happening in Ukraine right now, and we want to be a part of them. It is important for us to be there," the president of Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace concluded.
