According to Nagornyak, "Ukrenergo" regularly publishes forecasts regarding possible electricity outages, but consumption often increases in the evening. The MP believes that raising the price limits on electricity imports is essential to reduce the number of outages.
"It is important that we have a lower limit during the evening hours and that the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities (NKREKU) raises the threshold and the maximum price for electricity imports. Currently, imports to Ukraine are virtually non-existent, our price ceiling is quite low, while electricity prices in Europe are significantly high today," the politician stated.
