In Dnipro, a man fell through the ice while cycling on Monastery Island (PHOTO)

An accident occurred on Monastery Island in Dnipro - a man engaged in extreme cycling activities, reports "Vidomo" citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

While riding his bicycle on the Dnipro River, he fell through the ice. He was located 150 meters from the shore and managed to pull himself out of the water onto the ice.

Divers assisted the man in reaching the shore, where he was handed over to emergency medical personnel for further hospitalization.

A total of 4 rescue divers and 1 unit of equipment from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region were involved in the operation.
