On Friday, November 29, significant changes will be implemented in the public transport operations in Dnipro, as reported by "Vidomo" citing the transport department.
Due to the repair work on the stormwater drainage system on Knyaz Vladimir the Great Street:
– buses No. 57A and No. 88 heading towards Queen Elizabeth II Street will take a detour via European Street, Sicheslavskaya Embankment, and Volodymyr Monomakh Street;
– trolleybuses No. 7, No. 14, No. 17, and No. 20 heading towards Queen Elizabeth II Street and European Street will take a detour via Sicheslavskaya Embankment and Volodymyr Monomakh Street.
Due to the dismantling of emergency structures at the building on Vokzalna Square, the final stops have been relocated:
- bus routes No. 7K and No. 101 to Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue, near house 108;
- bus route No. 32K, trolleybus route B, and tram route No. 1 to Vokzalna Square near house 2;
– bus route No. 86 to 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street near house 2.
Following the completion of the second and the start of the third phase of the tram crossing repair at the intersection of Lesia Ukrainka Avenue and Battalion Dnipro Boulevard, changes to public transport operations will take effect from November 29:
From 5:00 AM on November 29 to 12:00 PM on November 30:
- trams No. 5 will temporarily suspend operations;
- trams No. 12 will operate along Ihor Sikorsky Street without stopping at Staromostova Square;
- trams No. 14 from the railway station will operate via Stepan Bandera Street – Lesia Ukrainka Avenue – Volodymyr Antonovych Street, then continue on their route.
For the convenience of residents on Mykola Rudenko Street, an alternative transport service will be organized to operate along Lesia Ukrainka Avenue with a 20-minute interval. Please wait at the stops for route No. 17.
From 7:00 AM on November 30:
- buses No. 40, No. 87-A, and No. 109 heading from the railway station will detour as follows: Stepan Bandera Street – Volodymyr Antonovych Street – Oleksandra Polya Avenue – Lesia Ukrainka Avenue, then continue on their routes;
- buses No. 32, No. 33, and No. 73 heading from the railway station will operate: straight along Stepan Bandera Street – left turn onto Volodymyr Antonovych Street – left turn down Oleksandra Polya Avenue – left turn on Oleksandra Polya Avenue with a stop at "Lesia Ukrainka Avenue," then continue on their routes;
- buses No. 32-K will detour as follows: Stepan Bandera Street – Volodymyr Antonovych Street – right turn onto Oleksandra Polya Avenue. A temporary stop will be introduced at the intersection of Volodymyr Antonovych Street and Oleksandra Polya Avenue.
From 12:00 PM on November 30:
- trams No. 5 and No. 12 will operate on their full routes with a stop at Mykola Rudenko Street heading towards Stepan Bandera Street;
- trams No. 14 will resume normal operations;
- trams No. 17 will not be in service temporarily;
- trolleybuses No. 4 heading towards Soborna Square will operate via 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street – Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue, then continue on their route;
- trolleybuses "A" heading towards Heroes of Maidan Square will operate via Lesia Ukrainka Avenue – 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street – Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue, then continue on their route.
For the possibility of transfers during the repair work, a temporary stop "Battalion Dnipro Boulevard" heading towards Stepan Bandera Street will be available for trolleybuses No. 4 and No. 5.
To ensure the comfort of passengers traveling on the modified routes, all trams No. 5 and No. 12 will be equipped with a sufficient number of one-day travel tickets (tram-trolleybus) for convenient transfers without extra costs. Additionally, available travel tickets can be purchased at dispatcher stations and in electronic format using QR codes in the rolling stock.
For vehicles, traffic through the intersection remains closed:
– straight on Lesia Ukrainka Avenue towards Oleksandra Polya Avenue;
- right turn from Lesia Ukrainka Avenue onto Battalion Dnipro Boulevard;
- left turn from Lesia Ukrainka Avenue onto Battalion Dnipro Boulevard;
– left turn from Battalion Dnipro Boulevard onto Lesia Ukrainka Avenue.
From 7:00 AM on November 30, an additional closure will be introduced:
– right turn from Battalion Dnipro Boulevard onto Lesia Ukrainka Avenue.
You can detour the work area via nearby streets.
All other public transport routes will operate as usual according to the working day schedule.
A total of 200 units of rolling stock will be deployed on electric transport routes.
Additionally, 91 bus routes will operate throughout the city with a total of 623 buses (of which 96 are high-capacity).
