The Director of National Intelligence in the U.S. has dismissed over 100 employees.

In an interview with Fox News, Gabbard revealed that she ordered the dismissal of all participants involved in discussions of such topics. Those affected will also lose access to classified information.

According to Gabbard, the chat tool was overseen by the National Security Agency.

The behavior of the dismissed intelligence employees, Gabbard stated, constitutes a "flagrant breach of trust" and violates "fundamental rules and standards of professionalism."

In her Tuesday interview with Fox News, Gabbard mentioned that the firings were part of broader efforts to identify dishonest actors within the intelligence services. This wave of personnel changes, as Gabbard envisions, aims to restore public trust in the intelligence community.
