After counting 97% of the votes, Trump receives over 50%. Trump's opponent from the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris, is receiving 3.5% fewer votes.
A victory in Nevada will grant the Republican six additional electoral votes, bringing Trump's total to 301, surpassing the necessary 270.
Trump is leading in all counties of Nevada except Clark, where Las Vegas is located. There, voters opted for Harris.
Earlier, The Washington Post reported that in Nevada, in the Clark and Washoe counties, a significant number of mail-in ballots were rejected during the vote counting process. The reason was a mismatch between the signature left by the voter during online registration and the signature on the paper ballot.
The Nevada Secretary of State stated that the main issue arose with young Americans who do not have a clear handwritten signature.
Another state where vote counting is ongoing is Arizona.
