The Moldovan police announced the discovery of two drones.

One drone was found in a field near the village of Boroseni Noi in the Rîșcani district, located in the northwest of Moldova. The crash site has been cordoned off for investigation. Earlier on Sunday, a UAV was discovered in the Căuşeni district, near the village of Fărlădeni, in the southeast of the country.

According to preliminary reports, the device found in the Căuşeni district is a "Shahed" type drone of Russian origin, which does not carry explosives. The police noted that "there is no threat to the safety of citizens in the region" and that the investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, representatives of Ukrainian authorities reported that the Russian army attacked major cities in Ukraine with drones on Sunday night – Kyiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv. According to the command of the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched a total of 145 drones across the country. Ukrainian military forces managed to shoot down 62 Russian UAVs, with some drones exiting Ukrainian airspace, including towards Moldova and Belarus.

The monitoring project "Belarusian Hayun" reported that at least 10 drones flew from Ukraine into Belarus overnight. The UAVs traveled through the "Belarusian corridor" Slavutych – Pripyat, as well as Chernobyl and the city of Loyev. The drones reportedly reached the Mozyr district.

Moldovan authorities have previously reported finding drone debris after Russian air attacks against Ukraine.
