A member of the Abkhaz parliament was killed in a shooting incident in Sukhumi.

The Telegram channel AMRA-life claims that a conflict occurred among deputies during the discussion of a bill to ban mining. "Adgur Kharazia and Kan Kvarchia got into an argument, and as a result, Adgur pulled out a gun and started shooting at Kan. The deceased Vakhtang Golandzia tried to intervene," the publication reports.

The death of Golandzia has been confirmed by the press service of the republican Ministry of Health. An investigative operational group has arrived at the scene.
