Ukraine has implemented emergency power outages following a missile attack.

In the Lviv region, the energy infrastructure came under attack. "During the morning assault in the region, enemy cruise missiles were recorded," – wrote Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

According to the head of the regional administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, "there have been hits on two critical infrastructure facilities in the Drohobych and Stryi districts." In the village of Sknyliv, a residential building and an outbuilding were damaged due to a missile strike. There are no casualties or injuries, Kozytskyi added.

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, critical infrastructure facilities were targeted by missile strikes. According to data from the head of the regional administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, there are no reported injuries.

In Kirovohrad region, debris from a downed drone damaged windows of several residential buildings. There are no casualties, reported regional administration head Andriy Raikovych.

In total, over the night, Russian forces launched more than 40 missiles and over 70 drones, reported Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. "Another massive Russian strike. It's the middle of winter, and the target for the Russians remains unchanged: our energy sector. Among the targets are gas infrastructure and energy facilities that ensure the normal lives of people," – he wrote on his Telegram channel.
