Zelensky spoke second after Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, followed by French President Emmanuel Macron. Orban's and Macron's speeches were broadcast live and made available online, but not that of the Ukrainian president.
A Hungarian representative of the event organizers stated that Zelensky's speech was not public. Ukrainian officials, whom the Ukrainian service of RS contacted, called this untrue.
In his speech, Zelensky once again emphasized the necessity of supplying a large number of weapons to Ukraine. He pointed out that Ukraine needs weapons, not support in negotiations, and deemed the idea of concessions to Moscow unacceptable for Kyiv, as reported by "European Truth".
"Hugging Putin won't help," Zelensky addressed the summit participants, where leaders of European Union countries, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and leaders of other states gathered. "Some of you have been embracing him for 20 years, and things are only getting worse."
