Zelensky endorsed the proposal to deploy peacekeepers in Ukraine.

"We discussed with Emmanuel his long-standing idea. We support the concept of a peacekeeping mission, which means strengthening Ukraine," said Zelensky.

According to him, consultations on this matter are ongoing. "We are in the process, but I see that there is some positivity from certain leaders," the Ukrainian president emphasized.

Zelensky reiterated that he considers Ukraine's accession to NATO as the best guarantee of security – but even an invitation to join the alliance won't allow Kyiv to reduce its military numbers, and without an invitation, any reduction is completely unacceptable.

The President of Ukraine added that he is also considering other options for ensuring the country's security, including "sanction and financial" measures. "But all of this is not enough to say that Putin won't come with war again," Zelensky stated.
