Actor Yura Borisov has been nominated for an Oscar.

In the category of "Best Picture," ten films are competing for the award, including "Anora," "Bob Dylan: Nobody's Known," "Dune: Part Two," "I Am Still Here," "Brutalist," "Emilia Perez," and others.

The French-Spanish musical "Emilia Perez" by Jacques Audiard has received the highest number of nominations – 13.

In the "Best Supporting Actor" category, among the five nominees is Russian actor Yura Borisov for his role in the film "Anora." Competing for the Oscar in the same category are Kieran Culkin, Edward Norton, Guy Pearce, and Jeremy Strong. Borisov is particularly known for his roles in "Compartment No. 6" and "Captain Volkonogov Escaped."

The feature-length documentary "Porcelain War" (produced in Ukraine, the USA, and Australia) by Slava Leontiev and Brendan Bellomo is a contender for the Oscar in the "Best Feature Documentary" category. It tells the story of ceramic artists in Kharkiv during the initial months following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Latvian feature-length animated film "Stream" is vying for the award in both the "Best International Film" and "Best Animated Feature" categories.

The Oscar ceremony will take place on March 2.
