The award for the singer was brought by her multi-genre album "Cowboy Carter." Until now, Beyoncé – the most decorated winner of the "Grammy" – had never received a statue in the "Album of the Year" category. Over the years, starting from 2010, four of her albums have been nominated for the award.
This year, Beyoncé also became the first Black recipient of the trophy for "Best Country Album." Additionally, she won the "Best Country Duo" category alongside another American singer – Miley Cyrus – for the song "II Most Wanted."
Rapper Kendrick Lamar with his track "Not Like Us," which was the most searched song on Google in 2024, won all five nominations he was up for, including "Record of the Year," "Song of the Year," and "Video of the Year."
The American jury recognized Chappell Roan as the Best New Artist. Taylor Swift, nominated in six categories this time, did not receive any awards.
