The singer received the award for her multi-genre album "Cowboy Carter." Prior to this, Beyoncé – the most awarded recipient of the "Grammy" – had never won a statue in the "Album of the Year" category. Over the years, starting from 2010, four of her albums had been nominated for the award.
This year, Beyoncé also became the first Black artist to win a statue for "Best Country Album." Additionally, along with another American singer – Miley Cyrus – she triumphed in the "Best Country Duo" category for the song "II Most Wanted."
Rapper Kendrick Lamar, with his track "Not Like Us," which was the most searched song on Google in 2024, won all five nominations he was nominated for, including "Record of the Year," "Song of the Year," and "Video of the Year."
The American jury recognized Chappell Roan as the Best New Artist. Taylor Swift, nominated in six categories this time, did not receive any awards.
