He explained that it will be 1,000 UAH per person, regardless of age and social status.
"We all understand that the upcoming winter may be tough, so both the president and the government must provide support to every Ukrainian. For many families, 1,000 UAH per person is a significant amount that will help cover utility bills and meet needs, such as for medications," he stated.
According to Sobolev, the funds will be available for use throughout the winter, from December to February. The money will be credited to the "National Cashback" card, he mentioned.
Sobolev emphasized that the funds will be "tagged": there will be a specific range of purposes for which they can be used. "The funds can be spent on paying utility bills, medications, transportation, mobile services, purchasing Ukrainian books, and other services," he said.
Additionally, they can be donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sobolev noted.
