He stated that the bunker of the already eliminated leader of "Hezbollah," Hassan Nasrallah, is located beneath the "Al-Sahel" hospital in central Beirut, but the IDF has not struck there because Israel is not at war with the Lebanese people, but with "Hezbollah".
According to Hagari, the money hidden in this bunker "can still be used for the restoration of the state of Lebanon".
He presented a map indicating that the bunker with $500 million is situated in the southern suburb of Beirut known as Dahia, where "Hezbollah" is primarily based, as reported by The Times of Israel.
In a video commentary, Hagari emphasized that the Israeli air force carried out a series of "precise strikes" on the "financial strongholds" of "Hezbollah," including an underground facility where "millions of dollars in gold and cash" were stored. He did not specify if all the money was destroyed.
A representative of the IDF noted that the money is used by "Hezbollah" for aggression against Israel.
“Tonight, I am going to declassify intelligence on a site that we did not strike—where Hezbollah has millions of dollars in gold and cash—in Hassan Nasrallah’s bunker. Where is the bunker located? Directly under Al-Sahel Hospital in the heart of Beirut.”
