"Together with the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency, we are working on the establishment of a so-called minimum price guarantee fund for producers of 'green' and other types of electricity," noted Konechenkov.
According to him, this fund will be established with the support of international donors to provide investors with a stable income level over an extended period and protect them from fluctuations in electricity prices.
"Our goal is for both small and large companies to benefit from this fund. The main condition is that any company wishing to utilize this fund must pay certain fees, allowing banks to consider these projects," clarified the chairman of the UWEA.
He emphasized that having insurance against price fluctuations is crucial for attracting investments, which will promote the development of the renewable energy sector in Ukraine.
