"Starting from January 1, 2025, we will introduce a monthly "teacher's supplement" to the salaries of teachers amounting to 1,000 UAH "net", – stated Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, from September 1, 2025, the payment will be increased to 2,000 UAH.
In the Cabinet, it was noted that this applies to educational workers in general secondary education institutions, and the resolution was adopted "in fulfillment of the president's instructions."
"This decision is part of our support for those who are educating and nurturing the youth that will build Ukraine's future. We are grateful to Ukrainian educators and teachers for your selfless work. Thanks to you, even amidst the war, hundreds of thousands of children can continue their education and receive quality schooling," – Shmyhal declared.
