How public transportation will operate in Dnipro on January 2nd.

On Thursday, January 2, public transport in Dnipro will operate with changes, as reported by "Vidomo" citing the Department of Transport.

Due to the repair of the tram crossing at the intersection of Lesya Ukrainka Avenue and Batallion Dnipra Boulevard, the following changes will be implemented in public transport operations:

  • Trolleybuses No. 4 heading towards Soborna Square will continue to operate via 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street – Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue, then follow their usual route;
  • Trolleybuses "A" heading towards Heroes of Maidan Square will continue to operate via Lesya Ukrainka Avenue – 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street – Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue, then follow their usual route;
  • Trams No. 5 and No. 12 will operate on their full routes with a stop on Mykola Rudenko Street towards Stepan Bandera Street;
  • Tram No. 17 has temporarily suspended operations;
  • Buses No. 40, No. 87A, and No. 109 heading towards the Railway Station will detour as follows: Stepan Bandera Street – Volodymyr Antonovych Street – Oleksandr Polia Avenue – Lesya Ukrainka Avenue, then continue on their routes;
  • Buses No. 32, No. 33, and No. 73 heading from the Railway Station will operate: straight along Stepan Bandera Street – left turn onto Volodymyr Antonovych Street – left turn down Oleksandr Polia Avenue – left turn onto Oleksandr Polia Avenue with a stop at "Lesya Ukrainka Avenue", then continue on their routes;
  • Bus No. 32K will detour as follows: Stepan Bandera Street – Volodymyr Antonovych Street – right turn onto Oleksandr Polia Avenue. A temporary stop has been introduced at the intersection of Volodymyr Antonovych Street and Oleksandr Polia Avenue.

Due to the repair of the tram track on Lesya Ukrainka Avenue:

  • Trams No. 5 will make their last departures from the terminals earlier:
  • from the Zakhidnyi residential area at 20:06;
  • from the University of Science and Technology at 20:55;
  • Trams No. 12 will make their last departures from the terminals earlier:
  • from Staromostova Square at 20:32;
  • from the Metal Products Plant at 21:49.

Due to the demolition work on the emergency structures of the building at Vokzalna Square, the terminal stops have been relocated:

  • For bus routes No. 7K and No. 101 to Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue, near house 108;
  • For bus route No. 32K, trolleybus route B, and tram route No. 1 to Vokzalna Square near house 2;
  • For bus route No. 86 to 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street near house 2.

All other public transport routes will operate as usual according to the weekday schedule.

In total, 200 units of rolling stock will be deployed on the electric transport routes.

Additionally, 91 bus routes will operate across the city with a total of 584 buses (of which 85 are large capacity).
