A married couple has died in Brovary: a woman born in 1965 and a man born in 1966. Debris from drones fell on their private house, which caught fire, as specified by the State Emergency Service. The fire has already been extinguished.
In the Fastiv district, drone debris hit a ten-story building, causing a fire that resulted in the death of a 36-year-old man. Another 150 people were evacuated, and rescuers continue to battle the flames. Two other residents were injured: one suffered burns to the upper respiratory tract, while the other experienced an acute stress reaction, noted the head of the Kyiv regional administration, Mykola Kalashnik.
According to data from the Ukrainian Air Force, during the night of January 24, Russia launched 58 strike drones at Ukraine. By the morning, 25 of them had been shot down over seven Ukrainian regions, including Kyiv. Another 27 drones were "lost in location" without consequences.
