"The "єOselya" program is becoming more accessible for young people. Ukrainians aged up to 26 can obtain a mortgage with a down payment of just 10% of the property's value instead of the previous 20%," the statement reads.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko noted that "until now, the share of youth among program participants has been minimal – 9%."
"A total of 1,115 loans have been issued in this age category. We expect the proportion of young participants in the program to increase, which will encourage youth to stay in the country, and the program's development will enhance the positive impact on the construction and related industries, ultimately benefiting the Ukrainian economy," she explained.
Svyrydenko reminded that mortgages can be obtained through the "Diia" app under the "єOselya" program.
"In just two years under the affordable mortgage lending program, 14,030 loans have been issued for a total amount of 22.6 billion UAH," the Ministry of Economy emphasized.
