Reuters: The Hamas group in Gaza has replenished its ranks with new fighters following the losses of its members.

According to IDF data, during the fighting in Gaza, the Islamists lost approximately 20,000 individuals. American intelligence reports similar figures.

Former U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken previously stated that the restoration of Hamas's forces is "a path to ongoing insurgency and endless war."

Agency sources clarified that, despite successful recruitment efforts, many of the new recruits are young and untrained fighters, primarily being assigned to simple security tasks for now.

The U.S. Director of National Intelligence's office declined to comment to Reuters.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly asserted that the goal of the Israeli operation in the Gaza Strip is the complete destruction of Hamas.
