An analysis of various intelligence reports indicates that North Korea is preparing either for a rotation or an increase in the number of its military personnel deployed in Russia, the statement says.
Moreover, Seoul suspects that North Korea may supply Russia with strike drones. Military officials have noted some signs of the beginning of drone production, information about which first emerged in November.
According to intelligence from South Korea and the United States, North Korean authorities have already sent between 10,000 and 12,000 military personnel to Russia to participate in the war against Ukraine.
