Switzerland will allocate $56 million for projects aimed at the reconstruction of Ukraine.

Швейцария направит $56 млн на проекты восстановления Украины.

In particular, the Swiss government will allocate 55 million Swiss francs ($56 million) to finance Swiss companies operating in Ukraine.

Funding will be provided by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO). The project selection process will begin at the end of January 2025, with the implementation of the first initiatives scheduled for July of the same year. Representatives from the Ukrainian government, SECO, and the Swiss embassy will participate in the proposal selection.

"The need for Ukraine's reconstruction is estimated to exceed $500 billion. We hope that the driving force behind this recovery will be the private sector. Ukraine highly values the contribution of Swiss businesses to our economic resilience. Prior to the full-scale invasion, Switzerland was among the top five investor countries in Ukraine's economy," noted Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
