"Protective screens for equipment are designed with the specific features of combat tasks and the characteristics of each model in mind," explained a representative of "Steel Front." "We collaborated closely with military engineers to ensure optimal protection while maintaining the maneuverability of the 'Kozak' vehicles."
The 'Kozak' vehicles are a series of Ukrainian armored vehicles intended for transporting personnel, executing combat tasks, and protecting military personnel in combat zones. They have gained popularity in the Ukrainian army due to their mobility, armor protection, and adaptability to modern warfare conditions, as noted by "Steel Front."
These protective screens offer defense for the 'Kozaks' without restricting mobility. Thanks to their design, the screens capture debris and drones, minimizing their contact with the vehicle's body, thus reducing the risk of equipment damage and threats to the crew, the press service added.
The "Steel Front" initiative by Rinat Akhmetov plans to continue manufacturing screens and will further supply equipment to other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Following the successful implementation of protective solutions for the 'Kozak' vehicles, the company is considering the possibility of producing similar screens for other equipment upon military request.
