Over the course of three days, law enforcement conducted 287 searches to prevent crimes that "pose a threat to the state security, territorial integrity, and defense capability" of Ukraine.
"SBU employees carried out comprehensive procedural actions in 157 criminal cases. As a result of these activities, 222 individuals were notified of suspicion, with 85 of them detained," the Ukrainian special service reported.
This involves, in particular:
- 19 suspected enemy agents engaged in reconnaissance and sabotage activities on behalf of Russian intelligence services;
- 39 individuals suspected of involvement in military-related crimes, including potential participants in schemes for embezzling funds from the defense state budget;
- 63 people, including staff from territorial recruitment and social support centers, former medical and social expert commissions, and military medical commissions, as well as medical institutions, suspected of implementing so-called draft evasion schemes and organizing illegal border crossings;
- seven individuals who could harm state security in the information sphere and cyberspace, including anti-Ukrainian propagandists;
- 24 potential saboteurs of the state’s economic interests;
- seven individuals suspected of involvement in illegal arms trafficking and means of military destruction.
