At approximately 6:30 PM on November 18, in the Novokodak district of Dnipro, a man attacked the victim from behind, knocked him to the asphalt, and stole his phone and wallet, as reported by "Vydomo" referencing the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
The assailant turned out to be a 39-year-old man who has had multiple run-ins with the law.
The police apprehended the suspect and informed him of the charges under Part 4 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – robbery. The thief now faces up to 10 years in prison. The investigation is ongoing.
