Social workers in the Dnipro region will be transitioned to electric bicycles (PHOTOS).

The Dnipropetrovsk region has received 40 electric bicycles for social workers from frontline communities in Nikopol and Synelnykove, as reported by "Vidomo" citing the press service of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.

"The Dnipropetrovsk region has welcomed numerous displaced persons. Special attention is required for residents of frontline areas. This adds extra burden on social workers, who often visit their clients at home. Therefore, these electric bicycles are highly relevant. They will enable assistance to a larger number of people," noted the Deputy Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Nadezhda Zadorozhnaya.

With a fully charged battery, an electric bicycle can travel up to 60 km. This is sufficient for two to seven days, depending on the frequency of visits.
