In Yerevan and Vilnius, memorial events were held in honor of Alexei Navalny.

В Ереване и Вильнюсе состоялись мероприятия в память о Алексее Навальном.

People brought flowers and candles, as well as displayed posters featuring Navalny's portrait, poems, drawings, and slogans: "Putin killed Navalny," "We are not afraid, we will not give up," "One for all!", "Freedom for political prisoners!", "For your freedom and ours!".

As the organizer of the Yerevan event told Radio Free Europe, today's gathering was intended not as a rally, but as a meeting of friends where they could share what Navalny meant to each of them.

"After Alexei's death, many fell into depression and despair. I want to say a few words about Alexei today, to perhaps uplift someone and remind them that the idea cannot be killed," one of the participants told Radio Free Europe.

According to a representative of the Russian anti-war initiative "Ark," a year without Navalny has been a year of pain, but also a year of searching for new hope. "We must continue his work. Fight for freedom, for truth, for the Russia he dreamed of," the activist said.

The memorial day for the politician concluded with a screening of Daniel Roher's film "Navalny."

The memorial event for the opposition leader "A Moment of Silence. Alexei Navalny Speaks" also took place in Vilnius, as reported by a Radio Free Europe correspondent. Throughout the day, the popular memorial for Alexei Navalny in Boris Nemtsov Square near the Russian embassy was visited by around 300 people. They brought flowers and lit candles in memory of the politician.
