Demonstrations in support of Ukraine took place across Europe.

A peaceful demonstration took place in Brussels on Sunday, reports Radio Free Europe correspondent Olena Abramovich. Several thousand protesters sang the Ukrainian anthem and chanted "Russia must pay," "Glory to Ukraine," and "Peace for Europe, victory for Ukraine."

During the demonstration, an air raid siren was sounded – a noise that the residents of Ukraine hear almost daily amid Russian shelling.

A march in support of Ukraine also occurred in Prague on Sunday. Thousands gathered at Old Town Square in the city center. Czech President Petr Pavel addressed the crowd, stating that by invading Ukrainian territory, Russia has become an aggressor and violated international law.

In total, support actions for Kyiv have taken place in several hundred cities around the world over the past few days.
