The State Emergency Service released footage of the rescue of Kryvyi Rih miners who were trapped underground for over 13 hours (PHOTOS, VIDEO).

As a result of an accident at the substation on January 22 in Kryvyi Rih, 135 miners became trapped at a depth of over 1300 meters underground, as reported by "Vidomo" citing the State Mining Rescue Service of Ukraine.

The rescue of the miners required the use of complex technology to create an artificial load for the mine cage, which allowed for the safe transport of individuals to the surface.

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the rescue teams, company specialists, and other units of the State Emergency Service, the emergency was successfully resolved.

All 135 miners returned home safe and sound.
