In Kyiv, a television host has been arrested on charges of justifying war.

34-year-old Nazarov (real name Nazar Dioridtsa) is a television and radio host who has worked for the channels "Nash" and NewsOne. These channels were shut down in 2022 by Ukrainian authorities, with the National Security and Defense Council accusing them of operating for Russia.

The journalist managed a personal YouTube channel, which has just over 200,000 subscribers. The Security Service of Ukraine claims that during broadcasts, the host "spread Kremlin narratives" and "attempted to justify the crimes of the Russians." The host himself denies these allegations.

"I have not betrayed Ukraine, my principles, or the Constitution. During the full-scale invasion, I never left the territory of Ukraine; I worked for the benefit of Ukraine," – the Ukrainian RS Service quotes Nazarov in court. He stated that he does not bear responsibility for the words of guests on air.
