Seven individuals have been hospitalized, including one person in critical condition.

As a result of the attack, significant damage has been inflicted on commercial premises, reported the State Emergency Service.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has not commented on the strike in Nikopol.

The day before, Russia launched a massive missile strike on Ukrainian territory. Explosions were heard on Christmas night in Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Kryvyi Rih.

The head of the Kharkiv regional administration, Oleg Synehubov, stated that Russian forces carried out at least seven strikes on Kharkiv, causing fires in several areas of the city.

In the Kherson region, Russian units have recently attempted to seize the Kazatsky Island at the mouth of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, there have been three assaults. This was reported by the command of the Ukrainian Southern Defense Forces. According to their claims, the attacks were repelled, and the Russians suffered significant losses. The Russian side has not reported on the assault on Kazatsky.
