The head of the Kharkiv regional administration, Oleg Synehubov, stated that Russian forces carried out at least seven strikes on Kharkiv, causing fires in several areas of the city.
In the Kherson region, Russian units have recently attempted to seize the Kazatsky Island at the mouth of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, there have been three assaults. This was reported by the command of the Ukrainian Southern Defense Forces. According to their claims, the attacks were repelled, and the Russians suffered significant losses. The Russian side has not reported on the assault on Kazatsky.
