The discussion arose in the context of Ukraine's plans to enhance cooperation with African and Middle Eastern countries.
"In the past year of 2024, we managed to increase Ukrainian exports by 15% – that's an additional over $5 billion compared to the 2023 level, totaling more than $41 billion in Ukrainian exports for the year. And considering the conditions of full-scale war, that's quite significant. For 2025, our goal is to continue this growth," said Zelensky.
He mentioned Ukrainian government members, diplomats, and entrepreneurs who maintain Ukraine's connections with the world.
"And, of course, I want to thank each of our warriors, all the units that ensure the safety of our export routes, primarily in the Black Sea. The defense forces, GUR, the Security Service of Ukraine, external intelligence – absolutely everyone involved – thank you," emphasized Zelensky.
