The deputy commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade (OShBr) Maxim Zhorin made a statement regarding the necessity of preparing the Dnipropetrovsk region for defense against a potentially possible Russian offensive. This was reported by "Vydomo".
Zhorin is far from approving the tactic of responding to threats "after the fact," where defensive preparations are made only when combat actions approach a specific settlement.
He cites the situations in the cities of Selydove and Pokrovsk, emphasizing that such a strategy, based on improvisation and operational response, is ineffective and fraught with severe consequences.
He unequivocally states that "the readiness of Dnipropetrovsk for defense is a matter of today's importance," and delays in preparation could complicate the situation for the country's defenders.
"We need to prepare the Dnipropetrovsk region for defense today. We should not be constantly moving from city to city, hastily preparing these cities for defense at the same time. All of this needs to be planned, and a solid defense line should be built in advance. We cannot wait for the front line to shift to the next populated area. Considering the situation with Selydove and Pokrovsk, Dnipropetrovsk must be prepared now. And we need to control this process," said the deputy commander of the 3 OShBr, Maxim Zhorin, on his Telegram channel.
Earlier, we reported - the front line is approaching: OSINT analysts revealed how many kilometers remain for the occupiers to reach Dnipropetrovsk.
