A resident of Dnipro was unable to enter Slovakia due to counterfeit documents.

Житель Днепра не сумел поехать в Словакию из-за поддельных документов.

A 50-year-old resident of Dnipro attempted to cross the border, claiming he was on a business trip to Slovakia. However, his well-thought-out plan fell apart due to discrepancies in his documents. The incident occurred at the "Chop" checkpoint. This was reported by "Vidomo" citing "Dnipro Info."

The detained man presented border guards with a travel order and the corresponding identification. He insisted on the urgent need for his trip to Slovakia for business matters, emphasizing the importance and immediacy of his visit.

However, representatives of the State Border Guard Service noticed certain inconsistencies in the documents provided. A thorough inspection, conducted using special equipment and databases, revealed signs of forgery.

Following this, the border guards contacted the management of the organization on behalf of which the Dnipro resident was acting. Company representatives denied any knowledge of the detained man's business trip, stating that they had neither issued an order nor provided identification.

The Dnipro resident has been detained, and an investigation is underway.
