The day before, Russian military forces struck Ukrainian territory with a record number of drones. According to the Ukrainian Air Forces, on Tuesday night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 188 Shahed-type attack drones. This is noted to be the highest number in a single night since the beginning of the war. Some drones were shot down; however, several managed to hit infrastructure targets. In particular, Russian pro-military bloggers reported a strike on a railway station in Zhytomyr. In the Kyiv region, it is reported that more than 10 UAVs were shot down. Debris from the downed drones damaged private homes, apartment buildings, power lines, and garages, but there were no casualties.
