On the night of December 18, Nikopol was affected by targeted fire from Russian forces.

Until late evening on December 17, the aggressor country was launching artillery and kamikaze drone strikes on the Nikopol region. Nikopol and the Marganets community were under targeted fire, as reported by "Vідомо" citing the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Serhii Lysak.

On the morning of December 18, the enemy resumed shelling and struck Nikopol again.

Two private homes and a gas pipeline were damaged.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.

Additionally, overnight, units of the VK "Vostok" shot down five enemy drones over the region.
