In the city of Kryvyi Rih, on Volodymyr Velykyi Street, a 25-year-old man became a victim of a traffic accident. The incident occurred at a pedestrian crossing, which significantly exacerbates the situation and indicates a serious violation of traffic rules by the driver. This was reported by "Vydomo" referencing "SVOYI. Kryvyi Rih".

The driver of the vehicle was a woman, whose attention was diverted by a child in the car. The driver claims that she attempted an emergency brake, but the slippery road surface, likely typical for the winter season, considerably reduced the effectiveness of the braking distance.

As a result, the vehicle collided with the pedestrian. The force of the impact, despite the braking attempt, was sufficient to injure the 25-year-old man. Following the accident, the young man suffered a broken arm and was hospitalized.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
